Sailingcruise Doornik-Cambrai-St.Quentin

This is a 10-day cruise on the Scheldt and St. Quentin canal where we also pass a 5.6 km tunnel built by Napoleon in 1810.


From Tournai {Tournai} we leave for St. Quentin via the Scheldt [l'Escaut] to the old customs town of Mortagne du Nord on the Belgium-France border. After the Pont Malin lock we arrive at narrower waterways with small locks and villages. After a visit to Cambrai, we continue to the St. Quentin tunnel of 5.6 km in length, where we are pulled through. After this tunnel we pass another tunnel of 1.1 km on our own before we arrive in St. Quentin

Dag 1:

Arrival on board in Tournai from 4 p.m. Welcome drink..

Dag 2:

Visit the city of Tournai with its old buildings and cathedral. Departure to the border France Belgium Mortagne Du Nord.
  

Dag 3

Today we are sailing to the Pont Malin lock just before the turn to the St. Quentin canal

Dag 4

Departure to Cambrai via small locks.
  

Dag 5

Visit the city of Cambrai.
  

Dag 6

Departure towards St. Quentin via locks and small villages.
  

Dag 7:

Arrival in the Basement Tunnel du Nord.

Dag 8:

With the Ram through tunnel 5.6 km and arrival St. Quentin. Visit St. Quentin.

Dag 9:

Visit St. Quentin.
